羡慕你十年前游塞浦路斯的Nicosia的Ledra Street！ 我大学时曾梦想去爱琴海游泳，到现在梦想还没结束。那些补加的Danny Boy歌词真不错，让歌曲充满了动感和深情，谢谢你！

瀛洲大蟹谢谢你把俺的音乐领悟能力提高到一个俺都不知道的高度，哈。也很喜欢Danny Boy.新加两首也是描述战争的曲子。特别是Two Little Boys by Rolf Harris 每每让俺泪水盈眶。歌词如下:

哈，汤安，你的评论:“也感觉这歌无法用美国英语演唱出同样的意境来，还是老欧洲和Greek的意境深远”，英雄所见略同。翻出这首歌勾起了俺对十年前游塞浦路斯的Nicosia的 Ledra Street的回忆。本是一条和睦友善的街道1974年被生生分隔成两段，一边属土耳其，另一边归认希腊，堪比当年的柏林墙，直到2008年才统一归属塞浦路斯。当时商店里播放的就是这首雅典的白玫瑰，特别感人至深。

这个整得好。

从地域上讲，把北美新大陆、老牌帝国及南欧的风情穿插在一起。

从体裁上来说，又把Dancing in the Dark 滚石的不羁、Scarborough Fair民谣的柔情和Whitel Rose Of Athens小夜曲的细腻恰到好处地贯通起来。

精美难忘的歌！ 那首Nana Mouskouri 原作的 White Rose of Athens我是头一次听到，从名称上以为是类似美国学院派的玫瑰和葡萄酒日子的歌曲，----结果非常感人，也感觉这歌无法用美国英语演唱出同样的意境来，还是老欧洲和Greek的意境深远

多么象是高尔斯华绥的《苹果树》里歌颂的“那苹果树、那歌声和那金子”一般对曼吉的诺言。
