May I Share One Heart and Mind with My Beloved

Thirty years have passed in the blink of an eye;

There were times I envied the world’s fleeting high.

Yet hollow glory fades like smoke and cloud,

As rising and falling tides sweep away the proud.

Earthly treasures decay and turn to dust,

While the Lord's eternal work stands forever just.

Focus on following the Lord to save lost souls,

Living simply excels chasing monetary goals.

Build up yourself and lift up others near,

Faithful service brings praise from the Lord so dear.

May I share one heart and mind with my beloved,

Fighting relentlessly for the Lord, steadfast and unmoved.
