I just read a report that China and Vietnam has already stopped the loaded ships shipping to the U.S., it is easy to imagine that according to the original contract with the US importers, the products ship to the United States faced immediate huge losses.

It’s not just that prices of the daily goods will be skyrocketing, but that the supply of daily necessities will be out of stock and the shelves are keeping in empty and cannot be refilled anymore before the US-Gov lifting the high tariffs.
The lethal point is that in West, and globally, household appliances, kitchen utensils, shoes and socks, stationery, and many daily necessities that can be mechanized production mainly come from China. We can foresee the consequences of banning ships to US. Social unrest led to the breakup of the United States of America into many independent states.

The US politician hopes that high tariffs will force manufacturing back to the US. The problem is that in order to deceive voters, politicians play with ideology, values and human rights, encourage strikes for more by doing less and gain without working, has corrupted the quality of workers, and form a tomb culture that destroys companies. Existing companies are still declining, and people once trusted Boeing passenger planes are being destroyed by the tomb culture.
Besides bad social governance; the loss of capabilities in manufacturing of the US and western countries is also due to the low quality of the population that caused by individualistic values and individualistic social ideology.

Now China by updated 2000 years old Silk Road and Belt and Road Initiative in helping global countries build infrastructure, develop economies, integrate the cultures and economies of long hostile feuds countries that have long been hatred fragmented by the West, promote mutual understanding, eliminate and avoid conflicts, and develop a world of peace and common prosperity. This is the only way to avoid wars and make people make livings in home places.
But the rational practice of China is treated as threat with all kinds of rumors, such as debt trap. The US strategist David Goldman sighed:”the United States have tended to look at these places (global south) as baggage; so we don't take them seriously. The Chinese take them seriously and the longest the biggest challenge to American influence in the world long term is China's ability to integrate billions of marginalized people into the world economy. You're talking about people going from making $2 a day which is misery and degradation to 10 or 15 a day which is the beginning of dignity.
