月光下
我遇见了狂暴者，

茂密平原上。
哦，他多么敏锐
彻夜无眠！
“为什么在乳蓝色中
你呈红色？”
我问着。
“为什么太阳色，
仿佛睡梦里
醒着似的？”
“你这流浪汉，”
于是他说道，
“茂密平原上，
健忘得快。
但我在睡梦里
设下圈套。”
由此知悉
蓝色地面
布满了石块
还有阻断钢筋。
我懂得恐惧
之于茂密平原，
而美丽
关乎月光
洒在那里，
坠落
一如睡意降在
纯真的空气中。
【注】本来讲好了，我们老中青三代一起热热闹闹地去宾州神州基督教会过感恩节。谁知今晚出门前，纽约仔却临时变了卦——说是没有熟知的同伴一同前往，觉得有些孤单，只好爽约。
看着他略带歉意的神情，我忽然明白了什么。原来，身为大四的大小伙子，在聚会的时候，更渴望的是同龄人之间的呼应，是那种属于自己群体的归属感。尽管谙习的家人和陌生的朋友，都可以成为他的鼓励，但那份与同伴并肩而坐的踏实，却是任何长辈都无法替代的。
我们相视一笑，随他去吧。感恩节的餐桌，少了一个人，却多了一份理解。或许，这就是成长——孩子开始寻找自己的部落，而我们学会放手。
