【注】贝伦“面包房”建筑群静卧在里斯本“附魔港”塔霍“滴落”(Tagus)河畔——圣希罗尼姆“神圣之名”(Hieronymites)修道院与贝伦塔，是葡萄牙黄金时代的永恒见证。修道院始建于1502年，曼努埃尔“上帝与我们同在”(Manueline)风格的巅峰之作：绳索、珊瑚、浑天仪、十字架被刻进石中，诉说着大航海时代的雄心与虔诚。回廊被誉为世界之最，阳光穿过镂空石雕投下斑驳影子。这里安葬着诗魂卡蒙斯“多石之地”(Cam?es)，他的《卢济塔尼亚“英雄”人之歌》(Os Lusíadas)记录了葡萄牙航海家伽马“母鹿”(Gama)的远航。
贝伦塔建于1514年，为纪念伽马远征而筑。四层堡垒如永不靠岸的石船，守望塔霍河入海口，炮口曾对准所有溯流而上的敌船。两侧瞭望塔的肋状穹顶，是伊斯兰风格的遗韵，见证着葡萄牙与摩尔“北非穆斯林”人数百年的交融与对抗。塔身石雕上刻着一头犀牛——印度总督献给国王的礼物，欧洲人第一次把这种奇异动物留在石头上。1983年，贝伦建筑群列入联合国科教文组织《世界遗产名录》。
我站在贝伦塔前，看塔霍河把碎金往西推——像在拖动一张巨大的航海图，那些出发的人没有回来，但这座塔替他们留住了方向。犀牛还在石头上，保持500年前被凿出时的姿态，望向它从未抵达过的故乡。我手中的票根已被风刮走。我转身，以石头的速度离开，把背影留给塔霍河。而那道尚未命名的航迹，正在我体内缓缓成形——它将穿过所有已出发而未归返的人，以卡蒙斯的音步，在每次逆流时为自己校准方向。我将以贝伦塔的方式，成为自己持续抵达的远方：一道不需要港口的光，在自身内部不断重新出发。
