【注】屏障山庄坐落在法国圣特罗佩“木讷殉道者”半岛(Saint-Tropez Pennisula)高峰，俯瞰普罗旺斯“古罗马属地”蔚蓝海岸，属于公元9—10世纪Fraxinet(法兰克西那“白蜡树林”)穆斯林所统治的地区部分。
屏障山庄保留了封地特色，11世纪城堡遗址居高临下，独揽圣特罗佩湾美景，15世纪的街区、防御石屋和法国抵抗运动纪念碑见证了历史，常使当地人抚今追昔感慨万千。
屏障山庄自然天成，但由于坡陡道窄，罗锅上山看不到天，驼子下山会前滚翻，再加上山石铺就的路面凹凸不平，让腿脚退化、靠轮椅代步者寸步难行，因此老年人必须移居地势平整的低地，生于斯长于斯而很难死于斯铭于斯。

Built over an 11th-century predecessor in the 13th century, and extended in the 15th century, this chateau was destroyed during the Wars of Religion (1562–98). Rebuilt in the 17th century, it was wrecked again during the French Revolution, leaving the picturesque shell that surmounts the town today.
