【注】落户在新草州名望镇(Robbinsville, New Jersey)的婆罗门教毗湿奴神庙(BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir)为神灵居住的圣洁礼拜场所，被视作印度次大陆亚洲以外最大的印度寺院，古老的印度教传统都是通过供奉在寺庙神圣的图像来崇拜神灵的。
自2011年破土动工至2023年10月对外开放历时12个年头，神庙的主要构架大功告成，从保加利亚、中国、希腊、印度、意大利和土耳其等国家运来的花岗岩、石灰石、大理石、砂岩和其它矿物建筑材料将神庙打点得分外壮观。另据报道，来自世界各地超过12,500名志愿者参与了建造，由此也引发了宗教服务与人力剥削之间的劳工诉讼。
截至到2024年5月为止，毗湿奴神庙仍然提供免费参观，根据本人亲身体验，来之前最好事先上网预约免费游览时段(网址见下)，否则如果时逢周末，那么免不了会像我们一样在现场等上个把钟头方才入内。
因为神庙恢宏，建筑群可按圣河(River Sarayu)东西河岸分成两半，下面的相片来自外部(西河沿)等候区。
