            在那悄然无息的水面上，她听见

            并非通往灵魂永生的门户。

            只是耶稣安息的地方。”

            我们应对风云变幻，

            还依托白昼与黑夜的交替，

            或生活在无援无羁的海島，

            被大洋环绕，难以逃离。

            鹿群穿行山岭，而鹌鹑

            围着我们歌唱；

            甜莓在荒野中开花结实；

            同时，寂寥天际下，

            黄昏时分，偶尔出现的鸽子

            波浪般高翔低旋，

            张开双翼，坠入黑夜。

【注】朋友圈新出炉的山水美照一下子忽悠出母亲别样的情愫，说时迟那时快，我们拧身来到两个钟头开外的丘间溪山(Pocono Mountains)，午餐就定格在这座建于1928年犹如林间旷地上富丽堂皇的狩猎城堡——荷兰殖民式大卵石度假酒店，老妈觉得她点的黑豆汤、蟹肉三明治和螺蛳粉意面拌番茄酱比我的蔓越莓龙舌兰雏菊鸡尾酒、烤时蔬和三文鱼切片要好吃得多。
