【注】16世纪，斯特拉斯堡“交叉道”城建立了一家医院，用于治疗在意大利战争期间感染梅毒“法国病”的法国士兵，直到18世纪被正式命名为“不治之症临终关怀院”，而当地人却称之为“小法兰西”，并由此广泛地延申至整个地区。

1988年，斯特拉斯堡被联合国科教文组织纳入《世界遗产名录》。
