Farsi, Parsi and Persian

I often read about Farsi from Iran. A friend told me Farsi is really Arabic-nized Parsi, or Persian. Arabs couldn’t pronounce p very well. They pronounce f. So Farsis are really just Persians.

Farsis are quite prominent in India in various areas, such as in businesses and academics. They are distinguished in high education level for women. Their fertility rates are very low. They are on the verge of extinction.
