Caleb, who belongs to the tribe of Judah, is known as the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite. However, Kenizzite was listed in Genesis as one of the Canaanites. Does that mean that Caleb was in fact a Gentile and not a Jew by race, such as Uriah the Hittite?
