Let R = AB
From A draw acr1 with r = R.
From B draw arc2 with r = R.
arc1 and arc2 meet at C.
From C draw arc3 with r = R.
arc3 and arc2 meet at D.
From D draw arc4 with r = R.
arc4 and arc2 meet at E.
E is on AB and EB = R.
From E draw arc5 wirg r = 2R.
arc1 and arc5 meet at F.
From F draw arc6 with r = R.
arc6 meets AB at M.
∆EFA ~ ∆FAM by AA.
They are both isosceles with same base angles.
∆EFA has 3 sides 2R, 2R, R.
∆EFA should have 3 sides R, R, R/2.

    不用直尺只用圆规找线段的中点                                                                                                                                      

    以线段AB的端点为圆心,AB、BA为半径作两圆,必交于两点。以该两圆的任一交点O为圆心作与线段AB相切之圆,切点为CCAB之中点。

    正如过一点可作圆的切线,过线外一点也可作圆与之相切。所谓相切即该圆与线段及其延长线二者仅交予一点,所作的圆符合此要求即可,无需选定半径才能作圆。在同一平面上圆与直线或交于两点、或相切、或不相交,三者必居其一。
