The ability to digest troubles is a person's vitality

Human beings are the most complex organisms between heaven and earth. They not only have to maintain the functioning of their bodies, but also have to bear the fluctuations of emotions, the pressure of social roles, and the invisible expectations and evaluations from the outside world. These together constitute the "mental load" of modern people.

Worry is the most common and hidden disease among modern people. It is not as rapid as a cold, but it can gradually erode people's will and steal their minds. Long-term anxiety, irritability, insomnia, and even some organic diseases are often rooted in the mind rather than the body. Studies have shown that chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, immune disorders, metabolic disorders, and deteriorating kidney function are often caused by persistent mental stress.

So, how do we fight this "hidden disease"?

Many people desire to be "free from worries". But the truly mature attitude is: not to eliminate worries, but to learn to digest them.

Just like the stomach digests food, the mental system also needs to break down and absorb the emotions, conflicts and anxieties we "eat" every day. A person who cannot digest worries will find it difficult to enjoy true peace and health even if he lives a good life.

To digest troubles, three abilities are needed: thinking, understanding, and transformation.

1. Thinking: From emotional reaction to active understanding

Thinking is the starting point of trouble transformation.

When troubles come, our first reaction is often emotion - irritability, anger, depression. But if we just get stuck in emotions, troubles will accumulate like sediment. Only by starting to think can we start from "why am I annoyed" and analyze the root cause behind the emotions. Many times, we are not annoyed by the things themselves, but our views on things.

2. Recognition: Improve cognition and illuminate the truth

Troubles torment people because they are often blurred, out of focus, and confusing. Recognition is a kind of clarification.

When we see the root of troubles, for example: this is due to my dissatisfaction with myself, I care too much about other people's evaluations, I am afraid of losing control, or a past that has not been healed... these troubles are no longer so heavy.

Knowledge is a beam of light that illuminates the psychological structure deep inside. The higher a person's knowledge, the more subtle and profound his troubles are. In a sense, one of the meanings of being a human is to cultivate knowledge through troubles, improve awareness, and become a truly self-aware person.

3. Transformation: Let troubles become nutrients for life

When a person can think about troubles and understand troubles, he has the ability to transform troubles.

Transformation is the highest level of the spiritual immune system. It allows us to turn pain into strength, failure into experience, and internal friction into clarity. Troubles are no longer a burden, but a fuel for growth.

Just as the body generates antibodies after contact with a virus; similarly, a person's digested troubles can give him internal immunity. The next time troubles come, he is no longer afraid, but has the "digestive power".

Conclusion: Health is a kind of spiritual power and also a kind of digestive power

Health depends not only on the physical fitness gained through exercise, but also on the inner flexibility cultivated through thinking. True relaxation is not external quietness, but the ability to "decompose and transform troubles" in the heart.

In this world full of uncertainty, whether a person can have physical and mental stability does not depend on how smooth the external environment is, but on whether he has the ability to turn troubles into soil for growth and pain into the light of life.

Therefore, the ability to digest troubles is a person's true vitality.
