Why did Keynes change his ideas rapidly?

When I read Keynes’ writings, I was puzzled by Keynes’ rapid change of ideas. I wrote down my puzzle. [1] But I couldn’t understand why. John K Galbraith’s TV program The Age of Uncertainty provides me the answer.

The Episode 7 is The Mandarin Revolution. [2] Keynes was born an insider. But the writing of The Economic Consequence makes Keynes an outsider, someone not to be trusted. His later writings were an act of redemption. He became an insider again.

This explains Keynes’ rapid change of ideas.
