Female Emcees to Host Hong Kong Film Awards

Three female entertainers will jointly emcee the 27th Hong Kong Film Awards on Sunday, the Ningbo-based newspaper Xian-Dai-Jin-Bao reported.

Dodo Cheng, Sandra Ng and Sammi Cheung will host Hong Kong's version of the Oscars, the first time that only women have emceed the event since 2000.

Veteran actress Dodo has hosted the annual award ceremony five times.

Comedienne Sandra Ng will resume her position as a host after an eight-year absence from the award ceremony. And Sammi, a singer and actress, will make her debut as an emcee at the awards, the report said.

The three emcees are all outstanding representatives of Hong Kong's actresses and their co-operation will garner the public's attention, the report said.（CRIENGLISH.com ）
