College Students Cook for the Olympics

A group of Tianjin college students are busy practicing cooking western-style food for the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games, the Beijing News reported Sunday.

The 600 student volunteers from the Tianjin University of Commerce will cook in 22 restaurants within the Athletes Village, the Media Village, the International Broadcasting Center and the News Center in the Olympic Village in Beijing.

They will offer western-style meals including French toast, coffee and Italian mushroom porridge, after being trained by teachers from the University of Florida, the report says.

The volunteers will be in Beijing next month for extra training.（CRIENGLISH.com ）
