Game-addicted student turns to Net for love

A university student in Chongqing municipality who goes by the Net alias Frank recently posted a message seeking a girlfriend willing to help him overcome his addition to online games.

The message, which appeared on his university's website on Wednesday, said Frank plays computer games every day because he does not have a girlfriend.

"I want to find a girlfriend to help me control myself and abandon computer games," Frank said in the message.

Within two days, more than 100 people read the message and eight female students replied, but Frank said he did not like any of them and would continue his search for Ms Right.

The message drew both applause and criticism. Some people said the move was a smart one, while others derided it as a joke.
