China to Enhance Educational Cooperation in Asia
China is willing to strengthen cooperation and exchanges in education with other Asian countries to realize reciprocal benefits and common development.
Chinese Education Minister Zhou Ji made the remarks in Beijing on Saturday when he attended the Education Forum for Asia (EFA) conference.
The minister said Asian nations have the tradition of respecting their people's education, and share many common concepts and systems in education.
He hopes education officials can make frequent contact through a bilateral and multilateral consultation mechanism. Asian countries have to cooperate in cultivating innovative personnel in key universities, and set up a system for exchanging scholars and students abroad.
He also suggested that an exchange mechanism be established for countries to recognize foreign education degrees. (Souce: CRIENGLISH.com )
