【注】识字比赛是2022年宾州光华中文学校新冠肺炎(COVID-19)疫情过后举办的第一个大型中文教学活动，参赛对象主要来自学前班—九年级大约600多名在读生，先经过初复赛前两轮普选，然后出线选手再角逐状元、榜眼和探花。所有晋级决赛的同学全部获取参与奖金，而前三名获胜者则分别赢得$50、$30和$10美元不等的嘉勉。

十多年来，光华中文学校秉持中华精神，以传承中华文化为宗旨，其管理团队与教师偕同家长一起竭诚推广中文教育，积极增强各民族之间文化社会交流，目前已逐渐发展成大费城地区规模最大的民办中文学校。2021-2022年度，任课教师70多名、学生注册高达1,500多人次，是传播中华文化不可或缺的教育场所。
