New Bamboo
Break the frozen earth
Shoot through the crags of rocks
Still bearing your brown afterbirth
And the frost of the night
Your greenness deepens
As one section leaps higher
Than the other
You thrust your spear
To the blue sky
To catch the clouds
From far away
To hold the new moon
For a few nights of
Sparkling light
新竹（翻译： 乡缘）
还穿着棕色的胎衣
还披着黑夜的寒霜
就突破了冰封的大地
一节比一节高
一节比一节翠
穿过悬崖间的缝隙
把锋锐刺向蓝天
揽住自远方而来的云
捧着那弯新月
沐浴几夜清晖
