003  A Woman's Face With Nature's Own Hand Painted（XX）

A woman's face with nature's own hand painted,
Hast thou, the master mistress of my passion;
A woman's gentle heart, but not acquainted
With shifting change, as is false women's fashion:
An eye more bright than theirs, less false in rolling,             5
Gilding the object whereupon it gazeth;
A man in hue all hues in his controlling,
Which steals men's eyes and women's souls amazeth.
And for a woman wert thou first created;
Till Nature, as she wrought thee, fell a-doting,                10
And by addition me of thee defeated,
By adding one thing to my purpose nothing.
   But since she prick'd thee out for women's pleasure,
   Mine be thy love and thy love's use their treasure.

你呀你，做了我雄性情婦；

芳心柔嫩，明鏡無染，

不像悍婦時髦女郎生變故；

雙眸光壓眾芳，流轉不滾假眼珠，①

顧盼之處，純金鍍亮黃土；

英雄瑰態，②統領天下翹楚，

竊得君子回頭，攪亂淑女靈府。

天工原本想畫女相，

可她定稿時六神無主，

添一筆犯了個小小錯誤――

那家伙是我不中意的玩物。③

造化為你塑身想讓女人享大福，④

我得真情知足，聽由她們逗你愛撫。

* 十四行詩（Sonnet）或音譯為商籟體，莎士比亞式十四行詩（Shakespearean Sonnet）結構嚴謹，每首包含三節四行詩（quatrains）和一個煞尾對句（couplet），每行十個音節（syllables），採用抑揚格五音步（iambic pentameter），韻腳排列一般為：abab cdcd efef gg。本書中譯或仿照原詩押尾韻，或有所變通。

① 原文「rolling 」一詞，意為「roving 」，即「rove」（眼睛環視）的動名詞。

② 原文「 hue 」一詞，此處意為「 form」，即形態。

③ 原文「defeated」 一詞，意為「cheated」 或 「defrauded」，即哄騙, 「one thing」指陽具。

④ 原文「 pricked 」一詞，意為「selected」，即挑選出，或用一個小點標出（男性特徵），名詞「prick」（刺）在現代英語俚語中指陽具。
